Indian hitter Virat Kohli announced that he had retired from Test Cricket and broke down the curtains for the longest -time career in the same few days after Captain Rohit Sharma.
The decision of the 36 -year -old Rohit Sharma, who inherited Kohli as a captain, retired from the Red Ball format, and a week before India started the five -game test series in England.
KOHLI said in Instagram, “It’s been 14 years since I was first in a loose blue blue in the test cricket. Honestly, I did not imagine this form to take me. It tested me, formed me, and taught me the lessons I had to carry for my life.”

KOHLI scored 9,230 points in 123 tests, ranking fourth in India’s maximum test run score list.
He already wanted to retire from the Test Cricket ahead of the British series this summer’s board of directors.
The 36-year-old boy told his boss in April about the desire to withdraw before the 2025-2027 World Test Championship cycle began in April.
