Contiki has chosen Korea as its first travel destination this spring.
The 8-night, 9-day Korea tour itinerary is a round trip from Seoul, visiting cities such as Basan, Gangnam, and Seongsu, as well as attractions such as the Demilitarized Zone and Jeonju, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The travel agency said the destination has become one of the most popular, with K-pop and K-beauty enjoying continued success and movies and TV shows like “Parasite” and “Squid Game” gaining popularity.

“We are delighted to be launching this journey,” said Taryn Welsh, Contiki’s Asia operations director. “This journey showcases both the modern and traditional sides of this diverse and wonderful country.”
Highlights of the tour include:
Travelers will experience Korea’s high-speed rail system while traveling from Seoul to Busan, and visit the historic Awon Museum & Hanok Stay, which features an art gallery inside the hotel. They will also have the chance to watch a baseball game and become the star of their own K-pop music video while stopping at HIKR Ground, an extended reality exhibition space and popular tourist attraction. A traditional Korean breakfast and Korean BBQ dinner are also planned for the last night of the tour.
The first departure date for the South Korea Soul tour is March 22nd. Prices start at $2,282 per person.
