If you have picky eaters, this is the week for you! All of these recipes can be filled with vegetables that you can add or remove and substitute with whatever vegetables your family will eat! Kabobs are the best because they are completely customizable! In fact, one of my kids will only eat the whole chicken, and that works for us!

Why should I plan my meals?

If you’ve never meal planned before, this is a game changer for you! Here’s why I swear by meal planning:

  • Save time: No more 4 p.m. dinner panics. With a menu plan, you know exactly what's on the menu, what you need, and how long it'll take to cook.
  • Save money: Get ready to be amazed. Meal planning is a huge help to your wallet. By organizing your shopping list for the week, you can easily find opportunities to buy in bulk and creatively reuse leftovers. It’s a clever way to keep more money in your pocket.
  • Bye Bye Takeout: Planning your meals and stocking up on groceries will reduce your chances of stopping at the drive-thru. You’ll save more money and eat healthier meals by cooking at home. Win-win!

Storing Leftovers for Meal Planning

I only plan my meals from Monday to Friday, because I have plans for the weekend or leftovers to finish the week! If you have leftovers, store them properly in an airtight container in the fridge.
