Why should you plan your meals?

If you don’t plan your meals ahead of time, this will be a game changer for you! Here’s why I swear by meal planning.

  • Save time: No more panicking about dinner when it’s 4pm. Menu planning lets you know exactly what’s on the menu, what you need, and how long it will take to cook.
  • Save money: Meal planning does wonders for your wallet. Organizing your shopping list for the week makes it easy to spot opportunities to buy in bulk and creatively recycle leftovers for future meals. It’s a clever approach that keeps more money in your pocket.
  • Say goodbye to takeout: If you plan your dinner ahead of time and stock up on groceries, you’ll be less likely to hit the drive-thru. By cooking at home, you can save more money and enjoy a healthier diet. Win-win!

Save leftovers for meal planning

I only meal plan Monday through Friday because sometimes I have plans for the weekend or have leftovers to finish the week! If you have leftover food, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
