Why you should plan your meals

Weekly Meal Plan #6 is one of many plans I have that will help you in many ways!

  • Become healthier: Meal planning helps you eat a balanced diet. Controlling portion sizes and choosing nutritious ingredients helps you and your family reach your health goals.
  • cut down the money: Meal planning allows you to create an accurate shopping list, which reduces impulse purchases and wastes less food. This will help you keep your grocery bill in check and stretch your budget.
  • save time: If you know what to cook every day, you can get rid of the daily worry of “What should I eat for dinner?” stress. On busy weekdays, you can also save time by preparing your meals in advance.
  • reduce stress: Planning will save you from having to run to the grocery store at the last minute and save you from struggling to make dinner. You will become more organized and less chaotic.
  • you eat better: With a plan, you're more likely to choose your food carefully, avoid takeout, and add variety to your meals. This is a great way for you and your family to enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals more often.

We've made this as easy as possible by providing you with a free shopping list that's easy to print and makes grocery shopping a whole lot easier.

Storing Leftover Food

I only meal plan Monday through Friday because sometimes I have plans for the weekend or have leftovers to finish the week! If you have leftover food, store it in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
