Why I Stick to a Weekly Meal Plan

When life gets busy, making dinner is a less stressful task. Here are a few more reasons why I’m sticking with this!

  • save money: Groceries are not cheap. Planning ahead will reduce impulse purchases and reduce food waste.
  • save time: No more staring at the fridge at 5pm or asking “What should I eat for dinner?” scare.
  • eat better: If you have a set meal plan, you are much less likely to order takeout because you are in a hurry.

I only plan dinner from Monday to Friday. Weekends are a time to relax, be spontaneous, or do something fun. If you have leftovers from this week, store them in an airtight container in the fridge and enjoy a night without cooking when you need them most.
