A total of 45 passengers were thought to be in a submarine called Sindbad when they sank near the port.

What we know so far is:

Who boarded?

AMR Hanafy, the governor of the Red Sea region, said six tourists were killed and 39 were further rescued after the submarine sank. There is no person.

He said 45 passengers were from Russia, India, Norway and Sweden. Five Egyptians were also boarded.

All the dead were from Russia. A Russian official at Viktor VoropaEv Hurghada said that the two murdered were children.

According to the early statement of the Russian Embassy in Egypt, all tourists on board said Russia is Russia.

What was the submarine doing?

The submarine, Sindbad, has been operated as a tourist submarine for many years.

According to a company that runs a tourist trip of Sindbad Submarines -Sindbad Submarines, the ship explores coral reefs near the Hurghada coastline on a journey.

The company has the only two of the world’s “14 real recreational submarines” and has 44 seats for passengers and two seats for pilots.

According to the company’s website, the tour is designed for both adults and children, and passengers can travel 25 meters (82 feet).

Dr. James Aldridge, who traveled the same in one of the company’s submarines last month, told each passenger, “There is a seat in the cushion next to the window and a safety brief in various languages.”

Bristol’s Aldridge said the ship was “not cramped or overcrowded.”

“Sub has left and we have traveled for 40 minutes,” he said. “In the first 20 years, I was facing a reef, and the serve never lost the way ‘too close.”

According to Dr. ALDRIDGE, the divers who accompanied the submarines enjoyed the passengers who said, “I used fish food to attract wild animals.”

Dr. ALDRIDGE said the submarine was 25 meters deep.

But he did not issue a life vest.

Past passengers of the company’s submarines say that they boarded on the floating platform of the Red Sea.

Camberley’s 50 -year -old Benjamin Grey traveled a sindbad submarine in February, but had a very different experience.

He boarded with a 13 -year -old daughter and a partner and said he found “problem” during his trip, including “at least three times”, including the submarine surface.

“In the middle, there was a diver that seemed to have picked up the rock,” he said. “He was knocking something on the bottom of the submarine. Obviously, the submarine was definitely not a submarine and the external divers were doing something.”

Unlike Dr. Aldridge, he also said, “The safety process has not been discussed.”

Where did the submarine subside?

The submarine sank on the Egyptian Red Sea poet Hurghada, the BBC understands.

The case is considered to have occurred in the port. The Russian Embassy said it took about 1km (1km) on the coastal time (08:00 GMT).

Hurghada is a popular tourist destination and is famous for its coastal and coral reefs. Many tourist travel companies operate out of the port.

In recent years, there have been other events related to the Red Sea Tourism Boat, which operates outside the city.

In November, the Sea Story Sank’s tourist boat left 11 deaths or disappearance, including British couples. BBC heard later Suspicion of safety failure.

British investigators said last month In the last five years, there have been 16 events related to the “Life Board” ship in this area, which led to death.
