The Blue Origin New Glenn rocket exploded from the launch pad at Cape Canaveral, Florida, Thursday night.
The space technology company founded by Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos in 2000 said there were no injuries as a result of the accident.
“All personnel have been identified. We will provide updates as more information becomes available,” Blue Origin said in a statement. The company said the explosion occurred during a “hot fire test” and described the incident as “anomalous.”
