Where to Buy All the Best ‘The Nightmare Before Christmas’ Merch

The time of year has almost come for Pumpkin King Jack Skellington to give us a slight scare in “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Danny Elfman, Catherine O’Hara and Chris Sarandon lent their voices to the animated Tim Burton movie, which has remained a Halloween staple since its 1993 release. In 2023, Elfman and O’Hara stepped back into their roles as Jack and Sally, respectively, for a stage version of “The Nightmare Before Christmas” at The Hollywood Bowl that also featured Fred Armisen, Halsey and Ken Page.

It’s been debated whether “The Nightmare Before Christmas” should be classified as a Halloween movie or a Christmas movie, but the film’s creative team is firmly Team Halloween. In 2015, director Henry Selick called it a Halloween movie, and composer Danny Elfman told USA Today in 2019, “It’s obviously about Christmas, but for me, it’s a Halloween movie.”

“The Nightmare Before Christmas” can be streamed on Disney+, and whether you’re a longtime lover of the Oscar-nominated movie who needs to refresh their merch, or a new fan hoping to get into the Halloween spirit, check out this list of the best new toys, clothing, home decor and gifts.
