The BBC’s Michelle Fleury reports from Wall Street on behalf of President Donald Trump about recent government filings showing thousands of stock market transactions took place in the first three months of the year.
The deal involves shares of some of America’s largest companies.
A Trump Organization spokeswoman said neither the president, his family nor the company had any role in selecting or approving the investments. They do not receive advance notice of trading activity and do not provide any input on investment decisions or portfolio management, the statement said.
