Women’s World Cup 2035: British, North Ireland, Scotland and Wales express interest in FIFA tournament bids | Soccer news

Home countries in the UK, Scotland, Wales and North Ireland expressed their interest in hosting the 2035 FIFA Women’s World Cup tournament.

This is the first time a tournament will be held in the UK soil following the UEFA Women’s European Championships in 2005 and 2022.

At the FIFA Council on Wednesday, Football ‘S Governing Body announced that the tournament was held in Europe or Africa.

Home Nation’s declaration of interest will be made with the decision of the Women’s World Cup tournament in the mid -2031 and 2035 women’s World Cup at the end of this month.

Keir Starmer said in a statement: “Football will always be the core of our identity, and to enjoy TV, play on weekends, or simply absorb the atmosphere in a bar, it brings another community together.

“When the UK hosted the UEFA Women’s Euro 2022, the pride was exhibited, which not only showed the best of our country to the world, but also inspired the girls of the generation, strengthening the economy.

FIFA announces the Women’s Club World Cup Plan

The FIFA also announced a separate annual international team tournament plan with the Women’s Club World Cup plan.

Originally planned in 2026, the Women’s Club World Cup will be held in 2028. It consists of 16 teams and five slots are automatically assigned to European clubs.

Africa, South America and North America each get both sides. The last three go to the qualified team in the simple “play,” round.

The tournament will be held every four years, and the organizer of inauguration has not yet been decided. But before that, a new continental challenge will be held every year.

The FIFA Women’s Champion Club will see the champions of Europe, Asia, Africa, Osatia, South America and North America. The first of these tournaments will be released in January 2026 and 2029.

The FIFA argues that despite the extensive fear of player workloads and travel, there is a world appetite for two new competitions. The union was vague of the needs of the existing play calendar and the physical needs for players.

The January timing of the next year’s Champions Cup will face the clubs and players at the end of the general European winter vacation and the end of the transfer window. The same is true of the North American team’s pre -season.

In the Olympics, questions about the status of women’s soccer are automatically asked.

Although the date is not set, the NEW CLUB World Cup will be in the same year as Los Angeles 2028, and we will question whether the world’s best players can play in two major tournaments in the year of the club and national team’s promises.
