The line-up for the 2024/25 Paddy Power World Darts Championship at Alexandra Palace is almost complete and the draw for this year’s competition will be broadcast live on Sky Sports.
Luke Humphries will return as the defending champion after his victory over teenage sensation Luke Littler last year, while former world champions Michael van Gerwen and Gary Anderson have also impressed.
Mike de Decker and Ritchie Edhouse have enjoyed TV triumphs in recent weeks and 96 players will take part in the biggest event yet as they compete for the Sid Waddell Trophy and a total prize pool of £2.5 million.
The top 32 players on the PDC Order of Merit will advance directly to the second round, with their names confirmed following the 2024 Ladbrokes Players Championship final on Sunday.
In the first round, 32 ProTour Order of Merit qualifiers who have earned their places through European Tour and Players Championship events on the 2024 PDC circuit will play one of the international qualifiers.
How can I view the draw?
The draw will take place and be made public following the launch event in London on Monday 25 November at 4.30pm. It will be broadcast live on Sky Sports News.
