Marineland Melanesia Crocodile Habitat said in a social media post that Cassius was “our beloved spouse” and “a cherished member of our family.”

Cassius previously lived in the wild, where he was famous for eating cattle and attacking boat propellers before being captured.

Cassius “brought joy and companionship to his best friend George for over 37 years,” the habitat said.
