The world’s longest commercial long-haul flight has been announced. It’s a non-stop journey from Sydney to London, taking up to 22 hours.

Australian airline Qantas has announced it will begin direct flights from October 2027, charging passengers around 20% more for long-haul journeys compared to traditional stops.

The BBC’s Harry Sekulich asked the public what they think and whether they would voluntarily pay more for ultra-long distance transport.
