YouTuber Jack Doherty was arrested early Saturday morning in the Miami area on drug possession and other charges, police said.
According to arrest documents released by US media, the influencer was filming video content while blocking traffic while attempting to engage police in the middle of the road.
He was arrested before a police search found “half an orange oval pill with three numbers engraved on it consistent with class 2 amphetamines” and “three cigarettes of suspected cannabis”.
The 22-year-old is known for filming provocative videos containing pranks, with titles such as ‘I got kicked off the cruise’ and ‘I got hit by a police car’.
He is also famous for videos of him hiding behind a bodyguard and taunting strangers on the street.
He has over 15 million subscribers on YouTube, over 10 million followers on TikTok, and over 2.8 million followers on Instagram.
It is unclear whether Mr. Doherty has a lawyer. A representative posted on social media did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
