DoorDash’s app can now pull up your grocery list for faster shopping.

Online grocery shopping is usually convenient, but manually adding items to your cart one by one can be a bit of a hassle. To solve this problem, food and grocery shopping app DoorDash has launched a new feature that lets you sync your grocery list to the app. The app then suggests items to add to your cart based on the items on your list. iOS users can also import lists from Apple’s Reminders app.

To use the new feature, first select the store you want to shop at. Then look for the ‘Create List’ or ‘Import List’ button. A variety of grocery options are available for each item, including different types of onions (white, yellow, red) that you can quickly add to your cart by tapping the plus (+) sign.

This feature is not only a way to provide convenience to consumers and increase engagement with the DoorDash app, but it also helps the company differentiate itself from other major U.S. competitors such as Grubhub, Instacart and Uber Eats.

This isn’t the first time a food delivery app has tried a similar tool. Last month, Indian online food ordering company Swiggy was spotted testing a feature that would upload grocery list images to its app.

DoorDash announced the feature Monday along with other updates in anticipation of the holiday season. This includes a partnership with food magazine Bon Appétit, which offers free recipes and the option to have ingredients delivered to you from a nearby store.

Additionally, DoorDash has improved its search results so that users can search for items from multiple sellers and see prices and estimated delivery times all in one place. The feature is currently only available for alcohol, but will expand to more retail categories, including beauty and electronics, in the coming months.
