Wayve’s autonomous driving technology is heading for Nissan vehicles.

Nissan said that the autonomous driving software developed by Wayve will be used to strengthen the high -end driver support system from 2027, a groundbreaking transaction of the BUZZY UK Startup, which has raised more than $ 1.3 billion from NVIDIA, Microsoft, Softbank Group and Uber.

Nissan will integrate into an ADAS system known as the software of the Wayve and the Propilot, including the LIDAR of an unveiled supplier. Japanese automakers said the system will set up a new standard for autonomous driving with advanced collision avoidance.

Nissan said the system under development for mass production by 2027 will be a level 2 system operated under the driver supervision. Nissan did not disclose a model that can use the system at level 2 defined by the Society of Automotive Engineers, and the system can automate several driving operations such as steering and braking, but always maintain control.

The WAYVE, which began in 2017, has selected interest and investors in the automatic driving system based on automatic learning rules based on its own learning rules similar to Tesla’s approach. Wayve has developed an end -to -end data -based learning approach to “Eyes in Eyes” auxiliary driving and the “Eye Eyes” fully automatic driving system.

Unlike Tesla, Wayve plans to sell “embodiment AI” to automakers and other technology companies.

Since the way of learning of Wayve does not depend on certain sensors or HD maps, it appears to be especially appealing to automakers. This means that the system of the Wayve can work on existing sensors such as cameras and radars. Automated drive software captures the data of the sensor and directly tells the system’s driving decision.

The Startup Development Fleet uses NVIDIA’s Orin System-on-Chip, but co-founder and CEO Alex Kendall said the software can run on the GPU in the vehicle.

Kendall said at the NVIDIA’s GTC conference last month at the NVIDIA’s GTC conference, which is run and used in high -end driver assistance systems, robot laxis and robotics.

A spokesman for Nissan, a spokesman for SHIRO NAGAI, sent an e -mail for Wayve’s embodimented AI Foundation models (large -scale end -to -end AI) to adapt to the software to various environments and vehicle platforms.

Nagai said, “We are confident that we can use Nissan’s technology and Wayve’s AI to clarify the judgment and behavior of careful and competent human drivers in a complex driving scenario.
