Viking acquired the Viking Honir and Viking Thoth, river ships that would sail to Europe and Egypt respectively.
Viking Honir will sail the “Passage to Eastern Europe”, “Rhine Vacation” and “Christmas on the Rhine” itineraries and will be able to accommodate 190 passengers across 95 cabins.
Viking Thoth can accommodate 82 guests across 41 cabins and will sail on a “Pharaohs and Pyramids” itinerary. These ships are sister ships to the Osiris, Aton, Sobek, Hathor, and Amun.
The cruise line plans to add 23 river vessels by 2028 and 10 ocean vessels by 2031.
