BBC Middle East correspondent Hugo Bachega joins paramedics working in the once vibrant but now abandoned city of Nabateeh, Lebanon.
In Lebanon, one in five people have been forced to flee their homes since fighting resumed in March.
At a ruined ambulance station, a paramedic is shown footage of his colleague being killed in an Israeli attack while on the phone with his wife.
Israel says some ambulances and medical facilities in Lebanon are being used by Hezbollah. But paramedics said there was no evidence for these claims.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said its troops killed more than 20 Hezbollah fighters Sunday during an operation at a hospital complex in Bint Zbeil, the site of fierce fighting during the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah.
Lebanon’s Health Ministry denied the claims, accusing Israel of targeting civilians and medical facilities.
