Newly released footage shows Peter Falconio’s killer raising questions.

On the 25th anniversary of Peter Falconio’s murder, Australian police have released bodycam footage showing one of Bradley Murdoch’s final attempts to get him to reveal the location of Peter Falconio’s body.

Falconio, who was born in Huddersfield, was shot dead on a remote highway near Barrow Creek in the Northern Territory in July 2001 while traveling across Australia with girlfriend Joanne Lees.

Lees was kidnapped by Murdoch, but escaped by hiding in the outback bush for several hours before beckoning two men driving a lorry.

In the video, taken in June 2025, a police officer can be seen asking Murdoch: “I want you to consider that Peter Falconio was your son Quinton, and does anyone know where his body is?”

Murdoch died the following month while serving a life sentence for the murder of the 28-year-old.
