In the hills of the Bekaa Valley, as throughout Lebanon, death can fall from the sky at any moment these days.
Israel has been bombing the area all day, carrying out more than 30 airstrikes in just one hour.
46 people have been confirmed dead and the death toll is expected to rise.
Others remain in critical condition in hospital following the Israeli attack earlier this week.
Noor Mossawi is one of them. The 6-year-old child lies unconscious in Rayak Hospital’s pediatric intensive care unit with a fractured skull bandaged.
Her mother, Rima, sits by her bed, holding a Quran and praying.
She says her daughter is very bright and sociable.
“She creates a really fun atmosphere in the house. The house feels empty without her. She loves meeting new people.”
The Israeli attack last Monday changed everything.
She showed another video of her daughter. This time, he was praying just before the attack.
“I was soothing her, telling her not to be afraid, nothing would happen to her. She was asking God and the prophets for help,” Lima says.
As the bombing approached, Rima huddled by the front door with Noor and her twin brother, Mohammed.
“We weren’t brave enough to go into the building because we thought it would fall on us if it was attacked,” she said.
“When it got a little more intense, I tried to pick up Noor and her brother and take them away, but the missile was much faster than me.”
The missile left Mohammed with minor injuries and Noor fighting for his life.
