Air Fryer Berry Cobbler (Just 2 Ingredients!)

This Air Fryer Berry Cobbler is the easiest one-serve dessert I’ve ever made. You only need 2 ingredients! Combine frozen berries and refrigerated cookie dough in small ramekins to create warm, bubbly, golden-topped treats in less than 15 minutes.

I originally tested this recipe with chocolate chip cookie dough and was immediately hooked. The cookie dough bakes golden and slightly crunchy on top, and the berries underneath transform into a warm, jammy filling that’s truly irresistible. It gives it a cobbler feel without any effort.

If you liked my air fryer cookies, you’ll fall in love with these. Same serving of energy with added fruit flavor.

Why this recipe works

  • Just 2 ingredients: Frozen berries and refrigerated cookie dough – that’s it!
  • Ready in 14 minutes: It takes just 5 minutes to prepare and less than 10 minutes in the air fryer.
  • Single serve: Made with 4 oz. With Ramekin you can get perfect private parts.
  • Endlessly customizable: Swap out the berry mix for frozen mango, peach, or cherry. Use your favorite cookie dough flavor.
  • No oven required. An air fryer keeps your kitchen cool and your cookie dough a perfect golden color.
  • Frozen Triple Berry Mix: A mix of strawberries, blueberries and raspberries. No need to defrost. They go straight into frozen ramekins and transform into a warm, jam-like filling while cooking.
  • Refrigerated Cookie Dough: I used store-bought chocolate chip cookie dough balls (the kind I have in the fridge). Any brand or flavor will do. I also tested monster cookie dough and sugar cookie dough and they were both delicious.

How to Make Air Fryer Berry Cobbler

  1. Prepare the ramekins: Grease a small 4 oz. Ramekins with non-stick spray.
  2. Layering: Place frozen berries into ramekins and top with cookie dough. You can place the dough balls directly on top or crumble them over the berries to cover them more evenly.
  3. Air fryer: Cook at 350°F for 7-9 minutes or until berries are bubbling and cookie dough is golden and cooked through.
  4. Rest and Service: Let cool for a few minutes (the berries are hot!) and then scoop them out. Top with a drizzle of peanut butter or a scoop of ice cream for the full experience.

Tips for the Best Air Fryer Berry Cobbler

  • Do not thaw the fruit: Frozen berries work best here. They release juices as they cook and create a bubbly, jam-like filling.
  • Breaking vs. entire: You can make a thicker, chewier topping by placing whole cookie dough balls on top. Breaking it down creates a more uniform, crispier crust. Both ways are delicious.
  • Check at 7 minutes: Air fryers vary from product to product, so start checking early. The top of the cookie dough should be golden and the berries should be bubbling around the edges.
  • Take a break: Wait 2-3 minutes before eating. The berry filling is very hot straight out of the air fryer.

change in taste

  • Mango Sugar Cookies: Swap out the berries for frozen mango chunks and use sugar cookie dough to add tropical flavor.
  • Cherry Chocolate: Use frozen dark cherries with double chocolate cookie dough like this Black Forest dessert.
  • Peach Snickerdoodle: Make a warm, cinnamon-flavored cobbler using frozen peaches with snickerdoodle cookie dough.
  • Allergy Friendly: For a gluten-free and vegan option, use Sweet Loren’s cookie dough.

Can I make it in the oven instead?

yes! Preheat oven to 375°F and bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until cookie dough is golden and berries are bubbly.

Can I make more than 1 serving?

entirely. Double or triple the recipe and make a few individual ramekins at a time. Make sure it can fit into the air fryer basket without touching it. For larger batches, add 10 ounces. Place one bag of frozen berries in a greased 8×8-inch pan along with one package of frozen cookie dough.

Any refrigerated cookie dough will work! I tested chocolate chip, monster cookie, and sugar cookie dough and they were all delicious. Look for pre-portioned dough balls or pucks in the refrigerated section of the grocery store.

Do I need to thaw the berries first?

no! Use right out of the freezer. As they cook, they release their juices and create a warm, jam-like filling.
