Alvaro Arbeloa has been appointed as Fulham’s new manager.
The former Real Madrid manager has signed a three-year deal with Craven Cottage to succeed Marco Silva, who left for Benfica after his Fulham contract expired.
Arbeloa left Real Madrid last May and was replaced by Jose Mourinho at the Santiago Bernabeu last month.
After being appointed as Fulham manager, Arbeloa said: “It is a real honor to take on a new role at Fulham, the oldest club in London.
“I feel a great sense of responsibility and I would like to thank Shahid Khan and Tony Khan for their confidence in me at Fulham in the Premier League.”

Arbeloa took over at Real Madrid after Chelsea manager Xabi Alonso left the club in January.
Before rejoining Real as a player in 2009, Arbeloa made 98 appearances for Liverpool in all competitions. His last game came in the 2016/17 season against West Ham.
