Since Battlefield Australia’s first startup in 2017, there have been 26 alumni companies raising a total of more than $147 million, and three successful acquisitions. They are backed by some of the world’s most respected investors, including Y Combinator, Blackbird Ventures, Square Peg Capital, Khosla Ventures, Microsoft, AirTree Ventures, Startmate, Techstars, and SOSV.

Selected founders will give live presentations as follows:

- Leading founders and operators in Australia.
- Potential partners, customers and employers.
This is more than a pitch competition. It’s an opportunity to gain visibility, credibility, and connections that can take years to build.
What’s at stake?
On August 19, 2026, eight startups will present live at Stripe Tour Sydney.
The top three will receive up to $15,000 in Stripe commission credits.
The grand prize is even bigger.
You’ll be automatically entered into Startup Battlefield 200 at TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco this October.
There is no second application. There are no extra rounds. A direct route to one of the world’s largest startup stages.
Who should apply?
We are looking for the following early stage startups across Australia and New Zealand:
- Pre-seed for Series B
- Building a real product or showing strong traction.
- Ready to scale.
- Ready to tell their stories.
It doesn’t have to be a family name.
We’re looking for the next person.
The deadline has passed, but the opportunity has not yet arrived.
This extension will give you more time, but not much.
