Apple announced its upcoming lineup of immersive video content for Vision Pro on Thursday, including behind-the-scenes footage from the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend, an immersive performance by The Weeknd, new series, movies, concerts, and more.
The headset launched in February with more than 150 3D movies and immersive titles. Apple is adding new content, starting with “Boundless,” which premieres tonight. The series takes viewers on adventures around the world, from a hot air balloon ride over Cappadocia, Turkey, to watching surfers catch waves in the Arctic Circle.
Apple teased other upcoming content in its recent announcement, including a short film based on the 2024 NBA All-Star Weekend in Indianapolis, featuring legends Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, and LeBron James. The film, which will be released this fall, will take viewers courtside and feature events like the Rising Stars Challenge and the Slam Dunk Contest.
Later this year, Apple will add an immersive concert with The Weeknd, adding to the artist-related experiences available on Vision Pro, including a sneak peek into Alicia Keys’ rehearsal session.

Also coming out later this year is the film “Red Bull: Big-Wave Surfing,” which features surfers attempting to barrel the world's heaviest wave in Teahupo'o, Tahiti, while the upcoming short film “Submerged” is set aboard a Navy submarine during World War II.
Another episode of “Wild Life” is also coming out. The nature documentary series will premiere its latest episode next month, which follows caregivers at Kenya's Sheldrick Wildlife Trust as they care for orphaned elephants.
Apple is committed to delivering more immersive video content throughout the year, and plans to enable more filmmakers to create content with Apple Immersive Video through a partnership with BlackMagic Design, a video editing software and hardware company.
