
Custom travel specialist Avanti Destinations and Queensland Tourism and Events have teamed up for a joint campaign promoting Australia’s northeast’s “Sunshine State” to independent travellers.
The campaign includes a 34-page e-brochure, a dedicated microsite and webinar recordings available on Avanti’s travel advisory portal.
“Queensland, particularly the tropical north centered around Cairns or Port Douglas, is the best-selling travel destination in Australia,” said Paul Barry, CEO of Avanti Destinations. He said the Great Barrier Reef’s largest coral reef in the world and the Daintree’s oldest rainforest make it “a region full of superlatives”.
