Why this casserole is the perfect addition to your brunch menu

Gina @ Skinnytaste.com

Whether you’re hosting out-of-town guests or planning a hearty breakfast with the family on Christmas morning, it’s breakfast casserole season!

I always refer to breakfast casserole recipes when preparing brunch and breakfast. Because making other breakfast recipes like pancakes or scrambled eggs isn’t practical when serving a crowd.

Here’s why you’ll love this recipe:

  • great for holidays (Christmas morning, New Year’s Day, Easter, Parents’ Day brunch)
  • Most of the time and easy cleaning
  • Tried and true recipes. These breakfast casseroles have all been rigorously tested, so you can be confident they will perform as described.
  • Preparation Options. Each recipe can be prepared the night before, so you can pop it in the oven the morning of your get-together.
  • Enough for a crowd (or meal prep).. This large casserole makes enough servings for a large gathering! But I also make this on weekday mornings. Divide portions into individual containers and our family eats them warmed up for breakfast seven days a week.
