Dillian Whyte believes he will face Derek Chisora in a trilogy fight in December.
The two heavyweight rivals have had two exciting clashes before, with Whyte coming out victorious on both occasions.
They are expected to resume hostilities at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester on December 13, but no deal has yet been signed.
“We’re not there yet, but there’s interest from both sides. Obviously, he’s said he doesn’t like the paperwork, and none of us are happy with it,” Whyte said. Sky Sports News.
“There are a lot of things that need to be resolved and agreed upon.
“I just want to fight. I’m not getting any younger,” he added. “This is the best fight for me right now.
“I’ve always had tough fights. I’ve always wanted tough fights. Derek Chisora is not stupid. Even when he’s a thousand years old, I’ll be worried.”
Whyte suffered a stoppage loss to rising star Moses Itauma in his last fight. But he is confident of winning again against Chisora.
“This will be a complete whitewash, 3-0. That’s all I’m saying,” he declared. “We have a lot of pride. We respect each other, but we don’t particularly like each other.
“He said a lot,” Whyte continued. “Then when I say something, he takes it personally.
“Derek Chisora is a thug. I’ve been a thug-beater my whole life.”
