
Schreiber Foods Inc., Green Bay, Wis., is recalling 144 cases of Honey Almond Cream Cheese Spread because they may contain undeclared almonds. People who are allergic or have a severe sensitivity to almonds may be at risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.
Cream cheese is Einstein Bros. It was distributed through Bagel stores to stores in Colorado, Utah, New Mexico and Wyoming.
This product is from Einstein Bros. These are 6-ounce plastic cups labeled Bagels. It comes in a honey almond lid and a plain cup. The lot code on the bottom of the cup is best used by LO July 21, 2026.
No illnesses have been reported to date.
This voluntary recall was initiated after product shipments were discovered with mismatched lids and cups. The lid correctly identifies the product as Honey Almond, but the cup incorrectly identifies the product as plain (does not contain almonds). Subsequent investigation revealed that the limited packaging readiness issue was corrected and upon review, it was determined that the issue was specific to this product.
