Heather Knight is set to retire from international cricket after this week’s Rothesay Test match between England and India at Lord’s.
Since making his debut in 2010, Knight has made 320 appearances for England, making him the club’s all-time capped player.

Knight scored six centuries in all three formats during his international career.
Knight, 35, was appointed England captain in 2016 and has managed 199 matches as skipper, most notably leading the team to victory at the 2017 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
The middle-order batsman currently ranks third on both England Women’s all-time highest run-scorers in T20 and ODI formats and has amassed a whopping 7,988 runs across all formats throughout her international career.
“I am very grateful and honored to have been part of my journey as an England cricketer,” the England batsman said.
Knight led England to glory at the 2017 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup.
“The dressing room and the people in it have been a constant in my life for 16 years and it’s hard to leave because the memories, experiences and people have helped shape me into who I am today.
“But I’m really happy with this decision and I’m really looking forward to the next step.”
Knight recently featured for England in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup campaign, scoring 58 runs off 47 deliveries in the semi-final against South Africa, helping her side reach the final.

The 35-year-old received praise from former England team-mate Tassie Parent after her performance at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
Knight also became the first English player to score centuries in all three formats of the game after scoring her first hundred in the T20 format during England’s 98-run win over Thailand at the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
In England’s Test match against India at Lord’s, Knight made 6 off 25 deliveries before being trapped lbw by Sayali Staghare.
“I’ve been fortunate to play alongside some great cricketers,” Knight said, adding, “I’ve been fortunate to play with some great people who have taught me a lot, inspired me and supported me throughout my career.”
Knight became the first England female player to score centuries in all three formats.
“As a team we have shared special moments with our fans over the years and we would like to thank everyone for their support and love of the women’s game.
“Watching this great game grow has been the greatest privilege of my life.”
England finished the second day at Lord’s 269 runs behind the visitors, with India’s Smriti Mandhana and Yastika Bhatia still in contention.
