I am in Jordan with the 35th Anniversary Event of the Tour Operator, the Global Community Tourism Summit, and the G Adventures for the GX Summit. I am a member of Koht, a journalist traveling around the country, and meets some of G’s partners and local residents working in the tourism industry.

The food was delicious, but it was a continuous influence.

The two women had little resources at first, and in their kitchen, they used instruments to make and provide homemade dishes. Here, visitors can learn how to participate in cooking classes, make soap or jam, and choose olives. The project hires 25 women and 15 men to help fight the high unemployment rate of the region.

“Our goal is to strengthen women and adolescents, provide income to help education, and alleviate unemployment,” women wrote a letter to our table that explains the history of the restaurant.

This house also has a fascinating story. It was built in 1881 using the stones carried by the camels. The Christian family lived there and established the first church of the community. In the end, however, the house was sitting empty for several years before Siham and Sumaya added a new chapter to the story.
