Luke Littler has now signed a new contract with Target Darts that will oversee his professional management.
The announcement comes a week after Littler revealed his split from his former label, ZXF Sports, saying he was “going independent.”
Target first partnered with Littler when he was 12 years old and has supplied him with equipment throughout his incredible rise to becoming a world champion.
“Target has been a part of my career from the beginning and I’ve always had a great relationship with everyone there,” Littler said.
“I’m really excited to have their support as I continue to focus on my game and prepare for the big tournaments ahead.”
As their relationship continues, the manufacturer will manage Littler’s operations both on and off red clay.
“We have worked closely with Luke and his family for many years and are proud to be a part of his incredible journey,” a Target Darts spokesperson said.
“Luke’s professionalism, focus and natural talent make him a truly special player, and we are committed to providing him with the support and structure he needs to reach even higher levels.”
Luke Littler has taken a huge step closer to becoming world number one at the World Grand Prix. But how quickly can he overtake Luke Humphries for the top spot?
In the latest clash between the world’s top two sides – the 25th meeting in the PDC-hosted event and the sixth meeting in the televised final – Littler claimed bragging rights after a 6-1 win over Humphries at the Mattioli Arena.
Victory in the double-start tournament marks Littler’s fourth TV major of 2025, which is special for Littler, who has also won the World Championship, UK Open and World Matchplay, while Humphries’ runner-up finish is his second at the World Grand Prix in as many years.
Littler’s increased title haul has further narrowed the gap to Humphries at the top of the rankings, with the teenager now £70,750 behind the world number one (as of October 13) and heading into a busy season.
The next major live event on Sky Sports is the Grand Slam of Darts from 8 to 16 November, while the World Darts Championship runs from 11 December to 3 January.
