Pandaw Cruise places new ships in northern Vietnam: Travel Weekly

Vietnam -based River Line Pandaw Cruises will launch a new ship from the Red River in Northern Vietnam to quote high demand for the area.

Hanoi Pandaw will navigate the Red River and the Halong Bay region. The ship is scheduled to debut in November 2026.

The ship operates a 10 -day journey by delivering the sister to Angkor Pandaw. There are 16 State Rooms and reflect the brand’s signature colony style. The ship has brass and teak finishes.

“North Vietnam is one of the last borders for exploring the river in Asia,” said Paul Stracan, the founder of Pandaw. It is very rewarding to provide travelers with more intimate and immersive travel through rivers and rural areas.

Passengers will explore rural villages and farms to experience life in North Vietnam. Hanoi Pandaw will bring travelers to Halong Bay’s limestone karsts by exploring the canals and rivers that cross the Red River Delta. The guests also visit Hanoi and Hill Country around the Viet Trai.
