
Clearly, one of the most important things that distinguishes humans from all other animals is intellectual ability. The rapid increase in the size of our brains over just a few thousand generations is the result of a combination of a high-fat, high-protein diet rich in meat and seafood. Law #1) and the continued reliance on complex thinking, exercising the brain like a muscle. This part is important and Primal Blueprint Law #10: Use your brain.
Just because your ancestors did all the hard work and set the stage for your big, intelligent brain today doesn’t mean you’re exempt from the need to use it.

Humans have always used their brains, regardless of when and where they have lived.
Classifies thousands of different plant and animal species based on their toxicity, nutritional value, and synergistic interactions with each other.
Repeat hunting weapons to better kill prey.
Track dozens of different animals to identify their fingerprints and determine when and in what direction they passed by.
Explore the South Pacific in an outrigger canoe, reading the tides and figuring out where land is based on contextual clues related to ocean currents, birds, fish, clouds and stars.
Invent writing.
Art and literature.
It tells a story.
Create hypotheses about reality and the nature of the world around us.
After all, humans didn’t evolve these impossibly complex brains for no reason. They have been central to our survival and development as a species.
Exercise your brain every day like our ancestors did. You have to be creative, inventive and aware. If your work isn’t stimulating (or even if it is), find time to read, write, play an instrument, and socialize.
Try doing a crossword puzzle in the morning.
Play Sudoku.
Have a board game night.
Learn an instrument.
Learn another language.
Play cards with your friends.
Read challenging books, both fiction and nonfiction.
Solve the problem in your environment. Identify and solve problems.
Join the community. Little league coach (it takes a lot of mental energy to get a team of high-energy kids together). Join the school board.
These are just a few options, but the important thing is to train your mind every day.
