The rescuers seek two trapped Chilean miners after four discovered deaths.

Chilean rescuers are racing to find the last two workers after the earthquake.

The state -owned Cordelco company announced on Sunday that four workers were known to have died after the collapse of 70 km (43 miles) from Santiago to Santiago.

Codelco said in the latest statement that the priorities are still recovering from the missing miners. The rescue team added that it cleaned a 24 -meter -blocked passage in the mine.

The collapse of the underground tunnel of the mine was caused by a 4.2x progress on Thursday. The miners were working deep under the surface.

It was reported that one person died after the earthquake, and five others were trapped in the mine.

Codelco has nominated two victims, Paulo Marín and Gonzalo Núñez Caroca, but others said they were not confirmed by the relevant authorities.

The copper mining company said, “This situation causes the family and the entire community.”

The rescue team is using heavy equipment to try to reach the miner by removing the blocked passage.

El Teniente is the world’s largest underground copper mine. Located in the Andes Mountains in central Chile.

The authorities said that the cause of the earthquake is investigating whether the mining activity or natural perception shift is being investigated.
