The wide sanctuary is waiting for people waiting for an adventure at Etosha Heights Private Reserve in Namibia.

Etosha National Park is a major wildlife destination in Namibia, but has a significant number of visitors, but there are 250 square miles of individuals who have wild animal watching without a crowd across the southern border of the park. Etosha Heights Private Reserve has become one of Africa’s most attractive conservation success because it entirely supports funds by tourism income.

Natural starting trips have partnered with local landowners to create Etosha Heights in 2017, so the previous cattle ranch and hunting concessions have been completely transformed into a prosperous wild biological habitat.

The result is measured. The elephant population jumped to more than 270 people (previously avoided the region), the number of lions has risen to more than 30, and the 370 Girin in the protection area represents one of the healthy populations in this region. The reserve forces also offer two important resting place habitats in two of the vulnerable eagles in Namibia.

However, it is a rhino story that actually shows what the tourism fund can achieve.

Etosha Heights is a designated black rhino manager and has a black and white rhino population, which is 24/7 protection from a specialized rock team. Camera surveillance, advanced monitoring technology and gyro cooters are all funded by contributing to 1.5% of the natural selection paid by guests.

Preservation at its center

At the center of the conservation effort is an amazing research hub. The Etosha Heights Conservation Center, which operates in cooperation with the GIRAFFE Conservation Foundation and Namibia University of Science & Technology, tells us the preservation strategy of the Greater Etosha region. This year, the center has supported research on everything from predators-free epidemiology to elephant exercise patterns.

The amount of exercise continues to be built. This year, four giraffes have already occurred, and the recorded success of the reserve army attracts researchers and preservation organizations pursuing clonable models.

The success of the protection zone is also attracting the attention of international researchers and preservation organizations looking for models that can be replicated. Jennifer Lalley, the co -founder and the chief influence officer of natural selection, says: “Preservation is a long game, and Etosha Heights proves what is possible when the land works with patience, respect and vision when the land returns to nature.”

How can travelers experience this preservation story?

The reserve forces offer three unique lodging options with their own characteristics. The Safarihoek Lodge features 11 to -priced chalets named after the name of the local tree species, including family and wheelchair accessible options. Lodge’s modern interior is perfectly harmonized with traditional Namibia architecture, and each chalet offers a 180 -degree wilderness view from a personal balcony. Advanced Chalets include outdoor shower along with indoor facilities.

Etosha Mountain Lodge, located in the center of the hills between the Baekwoon Seok Hill, offers nine classic Namibia chalre with open views and refreshing swimming pools, and is essential in this hot African afternoon. The location of the Lodge is especially good for finding an ambiguous cat who prefers a lot of landlords, Kudu and rocks.

For the best personal information protection and luxury, Safari House provides exclusive accommodations in traditional Namibia farms with three lamp bedrooms, complete kitchens, dedicated guides, vehicles and chefs for traditional Namibia farms.

Game drive, day or night

At all camps, travelers can enjoy breakfast and evening game drives, and during this period, you can see a variety of wild animals from Hartmann ‘S Mountain Zebras and Oryxes to classical Savanas such as Giraffe, Elland and Kudus. The healthy predator population of the reserve forces means regular witnesses of Lions, leopard and cheetah, while the dedicated rhino tracking drive provides guests with a rare privilege of meeting black and white rhinos in natural habitats.

Preliminary star attraction is a double -layered photo leather overlooking a large natural water hall. Designed by Namibia Wildlife Photographer, this HIDE provides both levels and expensive viewing locations, and there is a day bed for a dedicated photographer. Water Hall draws the endless parade of wild animals.

After darkening, the night drive reveals other characters such as sports hyenas, various jackal species, bat foxes and ambiguous honey badgers. Along with the armed rangers, the guidework provides an intimate level of land, allowing guests to track Rhino spook (Footprints) and find small details that make the ecosystem a mite.

Deeper diving

In addition to the standard game drive and lodge activities, this protection area provides a deeper preservation experience for interested guests. Etosha Heights Conservation Center provides special presentations for giraffe preservation and other ongoing research projects, providing visitors with insight into science work.
