Lisa Cook’s Federal Reserve President sued Donald Trump for his attempt to dismiss her and began a potential legal battle against the autonomy of the US central bank.
Cook asked the court to declare Trump’s dismissal order as “illegal and invalid,” and nominated the Fed Chairman Jerome Powell and the board of directors.
Trump said that there is a “good reason” that Cook believes that he has made a false statement about mortgage.
This measure is likely to solve various legal issues that can end in the US Supreme Court.
